Being browser-based, M1 Cloud can already be operated from any device, including PC, Mac and tablets. But an iPad, iPhone and Android app is about to make it easier with an even more fluid interface design for small screens. MusicOne was designed to fill the computer monitor with nice-size format clocks and long lists of songs in Categories with several data columns, including tempo's, genders, sound codes, total spins and such. It fills the available real estate on the screen. Until just recently, I had a tough time imagining how to crunch the software's screens down to fit a phone screen and still be smooth to use. My eyes have been opened!! Fast Edi, The Romanian Wizard has been conjuring up some app. The Apple app will be ready first, that's Fast Edi's favorite. Android comes shortly afterward.
Super Reviews for MusicOne Cloud
Another twenty stations have moved into MusicOne Cloud. Some are new users, coming from one of the other schedulers. Most are stations that have been using MusicOne Pro. Not One Regret! The reviews and raves about the new edition are just great to read and hear from long-time M1 veteran users. On the other hand, there are many stations telling me they are comfortable with MusicOne Pro on their PC's. They've got the confidence of back-ups, they know what to do when a computer crashes. Or when some construction project cuts the cable and the station has no internet connection for a week. The answer now is: If you have cellphone service, you have your music and content scheduler with you, in your hand.
Here is an advance look at a MusicOne Cloud schedule on Fast Edi's iPad screen.

And here is a look as the schedule editing screen on the iPhone app.

Reminder: Revenue-Sharing with PlayoutOne Ending
If yours is one of the stations paying your M1 subscription fee through Aiir, the agreement between the two companies is closing out at the end of this year. Aiir would like for you to move to their new scheduler, of coure. And I'll very much appreciate you sticking with me and MusicOne. If you do, you also have the option to move over to the new edtion, MusicOne Cloud. With that in mind, it is really easy to drop your .m1 database into the onboard screen at MusicOne.io . Send all questions about it to me.
TrafficOne Version 9-Beta
I'm looking for a station, maybe two to give the new version of T1 some testing. For the past 18 months, programmer Joel Carlos had been converting and rewriting TrafficOne code. It is near-ready for some real-world try-outs. If you'd like to help, we can arrange some special deep-discount pricing for you. Contact me if it sounds interesting to you,
Steve
