Artist separation settings are easy to get wrong. One might think that if you are going to schedule 10 songs a day by your most important Artist, a two-hour separtion would seem to be the thing to do. It's not. Each time the artist schedules it sets up a four-hour block; two hours before the song and two hours after it. If the first song by the artist should happen to schedule at 2:30pm, no other song by the singer can schedule between 12:30 and 4:30pm; two and a half hours either side of that one.

You can set a default separation for all the artists in your library, yes. But,MusicOne Cloud automatically calculates the the overall average separation time for any and all artists that won't fit into that time-frame. It will set custom, artist-specific separation times for your most-played artists. All the in-rotation songs by the artists will receive their proper number of spins from within each category and those songs will be evenly spead throughout the broadcast day.
