Selection Categories are the type that allow having songs in two categories at the same time. When a Selection category (or any other) is no longer needed, you can delete it. But first, you have to remove all the song cards that it contains.

The reasons for shuffling are two-fold.  First, songs by the same artists should be spread evenly through the category to prevent them from scheduling consistently close together. Second, we want to avoid the "predictability" of groups of song titles always being scheduled close together.

This category rule doesn't do what you think it does. It doesn't improve song rotations nor efficiency. We created it as a balm for two specific scenarios. First, it prevents songs from scheduling again much too soon after a category shuffle. Second, it helps ensure that songs you might manually search-and-schedule won't be scheduled by M1 close to that manually scheduled one.
