Music 1 SE is our Special Edition for Internet Radio. It produces playlist files that can be used by all of the most widely used webcast playout/automation systems. If you are webcaster using a professional grade automation system, try Music 1 Version 7/Professional.
When you install the software, you get a fully enabled version of the M1 SE. The installer will include an Empty library file so you may enter your own songs, create your own format clocks and schedule 14 music logs/playlists. Anything you do within the library database will be saved, so if you decide to use M1, you won’t have to re-enter any work or data entry you do during your trial.
M1 SE Version 7 has a built in mp3 tag reader that can import the meta-data from mp3 audio files. Additionally, it can import .csv/comma separated text files that are properly prepared. We recommend either MediaMonkey or Mp3Tag for this purpose. Both of these applications are free and can be found with a quick websearch.
RECOMMENDATION: Please do watch several of the tutorial videos on the Music 1 website to get an understanding of the basic functions of the software.
It is important that you watch the tutorials and read about M1 before you start the software. For a satisfactory try-out, get a firm grasp of the M1 system, how it works and how the various functions come together before you begin your trial runs.

The best thing to do after you install is to contact Steve at the M1 office with your initial questions. At your request, you can connect computers and he'll walk you through a short orientation to help you to more quickly get a handle on the system
